Maximillion is a producer and DJ from Luxembourg. After doing his first musical steps with bands during his high school years, he fell in love with the art of electronic music. He moved to Hamburg, where he experienced a lot of inspiration by its versatile club scene. His sound matured over the years and he used the party free pandemic time to work on his production skills. In 2020 he took over the luxembourgish label ‚Lauter Unfug‘ with his long-time friend Alex Heide and they rebranded it to ‚Lauter.‘, focusing on more groove based music. Lëtzebuerg City MuseumGuided tour of the exhibition "Best of Posters. 100 posters from our collections, selected by the public" by a member of the jury17H15 & 20H00 (FR) | 22h00 (EN) | 24H00 (FR)
The exhibition provides an insight into the museum’s poster collection, comprising around 2,500 pieces from the fields of politics, administration, culture or advertising. At the same time, it illustrates the development of Luxembourg and international graphic design during the 20th century.
Posters bear witness to social changes, prevailing tastes and mentalities. Despite digital mass media, the poster remains part of the public space and the collective visual memory. As this medium thrives particularly on the immediate effect on its viewer, the museum has involved the public in the conception of the exhibition, by means of 6 juries that selected the 100 posters on display. The show also offers a “Short History of the Poster", an animated projection and a room dedicated to poster production.

Lëtzebuerg City MuseumGuided tour of the exhibition "Komm, mir grënnen e Veräin. Associative life in Luxembourg City since the 19th century"17h30 & 22h30 (LU) | 19h00 (EN) | 20h30 (FR)
The first associations were created in Luxembourg at the beginning of the 19th century. Since then, thousands of associations have been founded, many of which have been dissolved. Their purposes were and still are diverse: conviviality, sport, health, culture, science, faith, social commitment or politics. Today, an estimated 7,000 associations are active in Luxembourg, with more than 500 in the capital. The exhibition presents the associative phenomenon in all its facets, from its precursors in the late medieval brotherhoods to bourgeois and working-class associations and to the present day. It highlights the characteristics of the functioning of associations as well as their important contribution to our society.
